When things don’t make sense...
“Don’t worry about anything, instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done” Philippians 4:6 NLT. “We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance” Romans 5:3 NLT. Things just don't make sense right now; it's a terrible time for many. With so much death, both natural and man-made, it's difficult not to be worried. Of course, as human, it's difficult to comprehend why awful things happen, because this world, is all we know. I remember asking, why do awful things happen, when God loves the world so much? Why can't He intervene? As human, when things don’t make sense, we naturally want to blame someone. When there is no one to blame, we blame God, and some unfortunately, reject Him in the process. And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?” which means, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” Mark 15:34 ESV. ...
